I began to walk further into the amusement park and then realized it was quite large enough to spend the whole afternoon exploring. I walked far enough to see the little blue kiosk in the distance ahead and then returned to the second gate and photographed this beautiful pavilion.

The park was closed and I decided it would be best to be a good visiting neighbor and respect the rules, I exited through the pavilion to find a portion of the back wall being used for a ballgame.

Havana exhibits unexpected fun everywhere one looks. Graciela Neira Costa and her family enjoyed a day with the dolphins, for example, this is something I look forward to when I return to visit Cuba again.

Interesting name for a gas station ... Oro Negro = Black Gold

It was approaching midday and I returned to my room to leave my new book and hat, the next stop was to photograph the international course on ferrocement. I took quite a few pictures there of the high-level academic ferrocement presentations and enjoyed a good lunch with Hugo Wainshtok Rivas. Dr. Wainshtok was the symposium organizer, former professor of several of the Latin American symposium presenters and became the president of the International Ferrocement Society on the closing day.
