Traveling to the Symposium ... Arrival in Cuba
I photographed the airport building as I exited the plane, and then felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. I turned and found myself looking into the smiling eyes of a beautiful stewardess, she held out her hand for my camera and took a picture of me.
"I've dreamed all my life of this moment," I told her. "Thank you very much."
When the day of the conference arrived, I followed directions, turned right and found myself in a gleaming hallway, behind Mario Moscoso and his wife, Graciela Neira Costa. Mario is from Bolivia, he is an extraordinary architect, sculptor and builder, and a vice president of the symposium, his art and skills include many materials and extend into interesting spheres of philosophy.
Turn left, then right ... and then right again. Three days passed before I realized the full meaning of this poster, it asks Obama to release the Cuban Five from unjust imprisonment.
And now the symposium begins, One hundred fifty delegates from twenty-six countries.
