Although most bamboo construction workers woiuld rather see the bamboo, the structure begins to exibit great strength as structural members become integrated into the roof membrane and wall matrix. Also, previously mentioned, this technique utilizes the lower grades of bamboo.
If the poultry wire is not snug up against the impermeable membrane, carefull grasp the wire with pliers, twist and gently lift to membrane, several zig-zag shapes are needed to move the poultry wire snug to membrane. Slowly lifting while bending adjusts bends to plane of cemented membrane, which will become the top layer of completed roof. Additional top fabric layers may be added in exposed geographic regions subject to hurricane force winds and, also, to isolate and preserve first top/outside layer.
A few very small and quick spots of fiber plaster are also quick insurance for unexpected winds during construction; near top, left of imaginary vertical center line, close to line.
