Late afternoon is a good time for this work on the sunny side; for both sides if the day is hot, with a dry wind.
The fabric is moistened using the rain gutter as a water trough. A scrap of plastic with a stone for backing makes a dam at either end. Allow excess water to drip from the fabric before applying the cement and acrylic.
Apply the acrylic and cement mixture to both sides of each fabric layer. Position the rain gutter and apply the mixture to the roof bonding area.
